The 'Juniper' sculpture was made relatively early in my residency and is quite similar in technique and structure to works completed in the UK.

Twisted Juniper cling to the edge, all along the rim of the canyon and are the inspiration for this portfolio. The paper used for the sculpture is a carrier bag from the supermarket and the photo shoot took place in and around Verkamps including the kitchen, studio and balcony to capture the light qualities at different times of the day on 8th and 9th May.

This portfolio really illustrates the way that different light qualities respond to the ice.
